Ralph Waldo Emerson
Everything seems still, yet nothing is still the same. Things might seem unchanged, always being at the same place, staying still, waiting for a look. Sometimes we pass by them, others we hang around them and see their beauty again but there are those moments that we find ourselves exploring new depths in things we already knew - seeing everything under a different light, a fresh light that brings fresh starts but a fresh air to beginnings that started long ago. The same thing happens with people as well. There are those who are like a cool breeze in a scorching summer day, then the people that make us feel like home, the ones that make flowers bloom in our hearts and those that come in our lives like a storm, that passes as suddenly as it started. Every single one of them is unique and those moments with them intertwine our fates, briefly or not. Fresh starts are not always about new things and new persons, they are in the way we see things, in the light we see things or people, under. As you might discover something new in a place you've always visited, like reading an old book and finding new lines, loving new parts of it, this is how you might have a new start with what you always knew, and had discovered long ago. Once, in a series (Romance is a bonus book) I heard that people are like books, you might have had a favorite one that was always there for you, an old classic that comforted you when you needed it (I have books like that, movies, tv shows and always make my day brighter and the clouds disappear), after some time without even realising that you've changed, you read it under a new light. Seeing something new makes you understand that things have evolved, changed, progressed and it's up to you to start afresh. Do not feel sad for too long, love the little things, appreciate what is around you and be open to explore new worlds! For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind. Ralph Waldo Emerson The mind is everything. What you think you become. Buddha Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood. All is riddle, and the key to a riddle is another riddle. Ralph Waldo Emerson Every particular in nature, a leaf, a drop, a crystal, a moment of time is related to the whole, and partakes of the perfection of the whole. Ralph Waldo Emerson Nature is a mutable cloud which is always and never the same. Ralph Waldo Emerson
