Today I was feeling so bored that I tried to sketch something, or even draw a line... soooo many times, but nothing. I couldn't find inspiration, I couldn't even draw a line. How could I sketch something discent. So to forget about all these and pass my time, I saw some pics on some pages about supernatural, yes! Supernatural, one of my favorite shows... I really like it, if you haven't figured it out yet. It has everything you could wish for... mystery, fantasy, drama, horror, adventure, it is hilarious at times... your eyes can be filled with tears of joy as well as of sadness, in a minute (or so). Anywaaayys... so I got inspired!! I'm really a big fan of SPN as you can tell (more... NO less:P). I wanted to draw Felicia Day aka Charlie <3 And (SPOILER ALERT) since she is dead... I wanted to give her a beautiful set of wings like her... but eventually the sketch doesn't have much to do with her but I liked it... It turned out better than expected, since I was in a weird mood. It was so fun that I filled it with to many details and even wrote a little verse.... So remember, nomatter how you feel, things can turn out for the best. Life can surprise you. Think positive :) OPEN YOUR WINGS AND FLY

120 hours... to prove your talentAre FIVE days, 120 HOURS, 7200 MINUTES, 432000 SECONDS enough to prove your talent in architecture? Three Norwegian architecture students in 2010 decided to creat a new contest ... an arena where skilled people would have the opportunity to show their talent in architecture. 2014's competition starts at February, 3days after the Valentine's day and as you can understand from its name it lasts five days. The students can enter the competition as a single person or as teams up to three persons. The sign up will close at 22 and the competition will begin! As it is said on the 120HOURS site if you want to entry you must be prepared to work hard and... fast. "120 HOURS introduced a brand new competition format, where students are given 120 hours to solve a complex and socially relevant assignment. By addressing topical discussions in both public and architecture debate, the competition aims to be a contributor of new thoughts and discussions within both social and cultural discourse." The theme is announced two weeks before its beginning and this year's is "sustainability and architecture". So the competitors won't see the sustainability only for its quality but as a critical thinking. They also have to present "an immersive experience within the structure itself, with radiance beyond the site, into the city and/or the interactive realm" , says co-founder Peder Brand. Talks take place before, while and after the end of this competitions, from the sponsors and the juries. "JURIES".. who are they and how do they judge? Well the juries are a team of five well-known and higly respected architects and architect critics. Of course among them there is a student representative to keep them... on earth as they have high expectations. THE 2014 JURIES ELLEN VAN LOON Architect, Head of Jury Partner, OMA Two of Loon's projects ; The Rothschild Bank headquarters and Maggie’s Centre near Glasgow, were recently nominated for the RIBA Stirling Prize. she is one of the most influential architects. NANNE DE RU Architect and Teacher Founding Director of Powerhouse Company, Director of The Berlage De Ru has taught and lectured at schools across Europe so his relationship with education makes him a great jury. ALFREDO BRILLEMBOURG Architect and Urban Designer Founding Partner of Urban Think Tank, Chair for Architecture and Urban Design, ETH Zurich His approach to sunstainability is alternative and his urban architecture awarness give him all that's needed to be a jury. EVA FRANCH I GILABERT Architect, Researcher and Curator Director, Storefront for Art and Architecture She is full of energy and new ideas and brings a modern air to the competition. MARTIN BRANDSDAL Student Representative Stud.M.Arch. The Oslo School of Architecture and Design In 2013, Martin co-founded Hesselbrand Ltd., a company based in London.
